6) With micro-chipping when your dog is found unless the person is carrying a chip reader it’s useless in the first instance of being found.

7) When your pet is found and the person can be bothered to take it home or try and restrain it to ring or take to the police, the police will keep your pet and contact a vet or animal welfare, they can then charge you up to £25.00 for that pleasure, then the vet or welfare can require a minimum “donation” for this as well.
